V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |UNCONFIRMED Blocks| |61174 CC| |[email protected] Ever confirmed|1 |0 --- Comment #2 from V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> --- Really, how valid is an alpha sort? Default size of our internal history (as held in user profile .xcu) is *25* entries. Yes it can be expanded or shrunk via expert configuration--and the MRU list of recents drives the thumbnails displayed on the Start Center. Access via Tools -> Options -> Advanced 'Open Expert configuration' Search for these settings: RecentDocsThumbnail -- false will show generic icons in the SC PickListSize -- set to 25 from 4.2 builds (was 10 previously), and ranges to 999 IIRC. Once changed via Expert configuration dialog, the stanzas in the registrysettings.xcu can be directly edited there if preferred. Point is while pining of documents to the top of the MRU list (bug 38742) would be helpful, it never has been clear that an alpha sort of the MRU stack would be. Adding this to the meta bug 61174 Referenced Bugs: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61174 [Bug 61174] [META] Rework of Recent Documents List, options to prevent logging and to manage entries on the list -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
