When toggled ON, hidden rows/columns are marked with an additional line/border, and this mark also acts on frozen rows/columns. Opening attachment 121564 from comment 2 and toggling the option ON, will show the mark above row 5, hinting about the existence of hidden rows above it. BTW, in attachment 121564 there doesn't seem to be frozen rows; just the first 4 rows are hidden. If there were (frozen rows), the mark would be shown for hidden rows among/within those too.
