--- Comment #8 from Stéphane Guillou (stragu)

Noting how it differs between applications:

- for Calc, both font and cell background colours are remembered
- for Writer, font colours are remembered, but not character highlights. Inside
text frames, nothing is remembered. Shape area and line not remembered.
Paragraph area and line neither.
- for Impress and Draw, none are remembered (tested area, line, font, character
highlight)

So, in summary, and according to my tests, the Document color palette only
works for a limited set of elements:
- Font colour in Writer
- Font colour in Calc
- Cell background in Calc

It should work for any applied colour, anywhere.

Tested with:

Version: 7.4.6.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 5b1f5509c2decdade7fda905e3e1429a67acd63d
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded
