Problem description: In some occasions, after some use, the menu selection does
not seem to have any effect. If any option is selected, it just sists there and
does nothing. Only after closing the program and re-opening it, then the menu
starts working again as usual, but after a while, back to no operation again.
There seems to be no triggering reason, just randommly happens.
