            Bug ID: 155386
Summary: CCleaner reports LibreOffice as being not-up-to-date
when it is. This prevents a perfect health check
                    report.
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.5.3.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
CCleaner is a well respected and widely used Health Check application for
computers and it reflects badly on libreOffice when it identifies libreOffice
as being the reason CCleaner cannot give a clean bill of health to the computer
it is scanning. In some cases this is enough for LibreOffice users to think
LibreOffice is unsafe, and revert to their previously used office suite.

The reason CCleaner throws up a red flag for LibreOffice is as follows:
-- CCleaner checks that all applications have the latest updates
-- CCleaner downloads and installs the latest updates where a new version is
detected
-- if CCleaner cannot do this is raises and red flag indicating a possibly
security risk
-- LibreOffice no longer has an automatic download and install facility, so
CCleaner cannot update it.
Normally, CCleaner would only red-flag libreOffice when new version was
released, and the red flag would disappear when the user updated LibreOffice.

BUT THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN - BECAUSE:
We are given two (2) download options: the safe one and the latest beta-release
and the beta release has the highest version nymber

Let's say I have version 7.5.3.1 (hypothetical numbers)
The latest recommended safe version is 7.5.3.2
But the one LibreOffice says is the latest version is 7.5.3.3, which is the
beta version

CCleaner classifies 7.5.3.2 as NOT being the latest version, cannot download
and install 7.5.3.3 and red flags LibreOffice.

When I update, I want the safer version, 7.5.3.2, and I want CCleaner to be
told that this is the LATEST version for now, and declare me up-to-date.
For those tech-heads who prefer the beta version some other arrangement could
be made.

Kind regards,
James Elliott BSc(WA) MAACB GradDipCompSt(Murdoch) JP

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Run CCleaner when a new version is released (before updating your computer)
2.Download and install the new SAFE version
3.Run CCleaner again

Actual Results:
1. Red Flag - latest versions is not installed
2. Latest versions is now installed
3. Red Flag - "latest version is not installed" (which is untrue)

Expected Results:
I have changed to installing the beta-testing-version as I cannot bear to have
constant red flags on my computer, and fee compelled to investigate why, only
to find out that LibreOffice is the offending software.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
The software should list the SAFE version to any application, like CCleaner,
that needs to know if the software is up-to-date, and leave the beta-version
somewhere else for the tech-heads to download... after all, if they are into
the latest beta-version they should be able to easily find and install it.

As it is now, many businesses are being red-flagged by CCleaner because they
use LibreOffice.
