Description:
I am not a fan of presentation templates with visuals, except where I have been
given one for a conference. At a basic level, a template provides panel
structure (and should be based on a grid) and then on top of that could provide
visual style (Font, paragraph and colour palettes) and finally, background and
graphics elements.
Currently, I'm forced to choose a template from a collection, none of which I
would want to choose. A stripped down basic set (Light & Dark) gives me the
structure I need and a place to apply my own more Bauhausian aesthetic.
Please can we have a simple pair of templates one white/light and the other
dark/anthracite (not black) with no patterns/backgrounds/graphics.
Also (related, but perhaps its own bug), when I want to Save-As OTP (template),
the default path should be to the templates directory (which I could edit but
can't see why I'd want to)
