So I just unplugged my ethernet connection with WIFI and Bluetooth off. It actually took longer to start-up LO than with the network connected. I think you've got to add a new bug report John. There is one thing in Windows that isn't in Mac. There is LO quick start program that can be enabled to start up when you turn on your computer. It doesn't exist on Mac.
