Priority: medium
Bug ID: 64055
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: VLOOKUP returns the wrong value (possibly if not
enough memory)
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: (See in Summary)
Component: Spreadsheet
Product: LibreOffice
I have a spreadsheet with about 10 sheets each about 200 by 300 cells.
The cell $HN40:
=VLOOKUP($FR40,$EA$2:$FQ$201,HN$1+2,0) [HN$1 is 1]
and those in $HN41, 42 ... 45
produced the wrong value, matching the first cell $EA$2 not the correct one.
The results for HN$46 ... 201 appear correct. Re-entering the formula has no
effect, neither did recalculating with F9. Increasing the memory Options>Memory
from 256K to 512K cured the problem.
I have been unable to reproduce the problem by reducing the memory again, so I
realise that this bug may be impossible to confirm. I thought I had better
report it because of its potentially serious consequences.
Windows Vista SP2 with 3.6.5.2
