Perhaps a "Cut special" <Ctrl><Alt>+X to complement "Paste special" <Ctrl><Alt>+V. But please be aware that this is not a bug--LibreOffice and Apache OpenOffice function as designed regards the <Ctrl>+X Cut function in Calc and clearing formatting of source cells.
