--- Comment #26 from Luke Kendall <[email protected]> --- I have something very interesting to report. The bug is still present in Version: 7.5.3.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 9f56dff12ba03b9acd7730a5a481eea045e468f3 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.18; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded But there is a good workaround. I work in .odt file format, but need .docx versions for some parts of my workflow. When I compare the 5x8 edition of my book (different page size, margins, point size, ISBN) to the 4x7 edition, using the .odt version of each, the compare documents function shows the entire document is different. It's useless. But because I accidentally compare the 5x8 .docx version to the 4x7 .odt version, I discovered by chance that it only shows the significant changes: such as the ISBN, and genuine text differences. So that's a good workaround. I do feel it should be possible to compare two .odt documents though without saving one as a .docx first, though. I hope this helps. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
