Michael, Thank you for the prompt response! I checked the typematic rate and found it's okay; in any case even if this had not been set as desired, you might wish to think as to why it should be not be an issue in MS Office. Also, please consider the below points that I posted in my earlier comment: 3. I find the same issue in Oo 3.4.1 as well but works just fine in MSO. a) I set the memory to 30Steps/256MB/16MB/00:10hh:mm/32Objects as suggested in the Oo forum. This works for Oo but not for Libre. 4. This happens with every sheet I open or create; b) The issue comes up only if some data is entered. A saved file opened and scrolled is okay as long as there is no change.
