Bug ID: 156196
Summary: document recovery sometimes ignores the last save
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.5.4.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
I knew that this problem existed...
but I tested it...
after a crash I chose recover document and the last save will be ignored
It appears that the recovery mechanism ignores the time of the last "save"
action...
it should check whether the time of the last save (by the user) was after the
time of the last auto-recovery-save happened...
Steps to Reproduce:
1. save the document
2. produce a crash (not easy but could be managed)
3. chose recover document (autorecovery)
Actual Results:
the last edit which was saved is ignored
Expected Results:
the last edit before the "save" (by the user) action should be present, not
reverted...
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
