            Bug ID: 156252
Summary: Chosing page break to page format 'portrait' only
offers 'landscape' if document is begun in landscape
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.4.7.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Problem: When I write a document in page-orientation 'landscape' via
document>properties and later try to set a manual page break to a page with
page-orientation:'portrait' in insert>break>manual break>type:page break>page
format, page-format 'portrait' is missing in the list.

Solution: Set whole document to page-format 'portrait', then manually re-assign
page-format 'landscape' to pages who benefit from that.

Request: It would be nice tho to have an easy solution inverted from the
standard procedure (where you sometimes insert landscape-oriented pages) to be
able to sometimes insert portrait-oriented pages into a landscape-oriented
document.

Context: I have a document consisting of many columnrich tables ('landscape'),
followed (!) by a few pages with text or fullpage pictures ('portrait').

Steps to Reproduce:
Set document to page-orientiation 'landscape' in document>properties, write
stuff, then at some point try to add a manual page-break using
insert>break>manual break>type:page-break>page-format 'portrait'.

Actual Results:
page format 'portrait' is missing in the list of page formats in
insert>break>manual break>type:page break>page-format (for a manual break from
'landscape' to 'portrait').

Expected Results:
page format 'portrait' is in the list of page formats in insert>break>manual
break>type:page break>page-format for a manual break from 'landscape' to
'portrait'.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No
