Brenda, thanks for taking the time to report this issue.
However, to be able to help out when others can't reproduce the bug, we'll need
more information.
If collecting a backtrace is too much, I'll try to be more specific about other
things you can try and information you can give us:
0. As I understand it, there's two issues: LO hangs at the beginning for a
minute, and then crashes randomly and often while using it. Correct?
1. Download and install version 7.5.5, listed at the bottom of the download
page: https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download-libreoffice/ -> do the hang
+ crash still occur?
2. If you can reach it before it crashes, paste again here the information
copied with the button in Help > About LibreOffice
3. Try to make note of which actions trigger the crash
4. Do you get a crash report dialog after the crash? If so, send a crash report
and share the link with us.
