Thank you very much. I really > appreciate it. Yes, "Not Assigned" means that no one has specifically taken responsibility for fixing the bug. It is not caused by a virus, conflicting program, or hardware issue; the same version of LibreOffice has the same problem on everyone else's computer (for example, mine). I, too, am working on a book project, and I reverted to an earlier version of LibreOffice because of this issue.
