Many commands are unavailable when sharing a spreadsheet, and there is a message in the dialog that spells this out (although it does not list Comments as an unavailable feature). Is it realistic to have a report open for each one of those? I don't know what the technical limitation is that means some features are available and others not. I'm wondering if this should be either: a. closed as a duplicate of the proper offline collaboration feature requested in 133984; or b. made more general and ask to have all features available when sharing a spreadsheet; or c. turned into a documentation / UI issue to clarify that comments can't be added in a shared file. (c) is obviously way easier to resolve than the two others. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
