I have lived with this bug for about 2,5 years regularly printing single pages containing only header/footer and no content, before I even noticed that the option to print selection has been added and mysteriously defaulted to form time to time, resulting in empty pages. I know of no user at my workplace, who ever wanted to print selection from a Writer file and by now even if they did, they would just copy-paste selection to new file. The problem will be hard to deal with due to software making phantom selections on its own at the end of many operations, like in case of bug 156399 after using replace all functionality. A fast fix of defaulting to printing whole document regardless of selection seems the fastest and easiest solution. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
