Priority: medium
Bug ID: 64327
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: FILESAVE: Save changes to existing .CSV corrupts the
csv file.
Severity: critical
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.0.2.2 release
Component: Spreadsheet
Product: LibreOffice
In modifying my CSV file by deleting rows, and then saving the changes to the
file, LibreOffice "corrupts" the file. This can be viewed either by simply
"reloading" via the File->Reload menu, or by closing and then opening the file.
The corruption is as follows. Usually, some component of the file data that
was deleted is appended as additional columnar data, rows, or both.
I use CSV files to load data into my SFDC instance.
A current work-around is to save the file using a different file name. That
appears to prevent the corruption.
