I run a spreadsheet where I enter data everyday to keep track of progress.
Today I noticed that the data from the last two days is missing, I know that
the day before yesterday's data was there yesterday because I used that data to
make some calculations. When I opened the spreadsheet today to input today's
figures the data as described above was missing.
I have had this happen several times before, the problem is infrequent and I
had put it down to forgetting to save when exiting even though I know I did
save.
The data from the last 2 days has gone and, as far as I am aware, is
unrecoverable.
As the spreadsheet is mearly a check on progress I have deamed it as a loss I
can live, however I would be hard pushed to trust the application to store
important information.
