            Bug ID: 156970
Summary: Revert 7.6 Style Box in Menu Bar to 7.5 Style Box in
                    Menu Bar
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.6.0.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
The rationale for changing the Styles box in the menu bar in v 7.6 to include
only the styles used in the document is incomprehensible and has rendered that
feature completely useless. It is obvious that the person who had this idea has
used LO Writer very little and does not know anything about Styles. The change
in 7.6 makes the drop-down box of zero use to the creator of a new document,
and it makes the function of importing styles from a template much less
valuable. Please change it back to the way it was in 7.5 and prior versions. I
don't want to have to revert to 7.5 to make Writer usable again.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a new Writer document.
2. Try to access both used and available styles in the Styles box in the menu
bar.
3. The Style box has been rendered almost worthless by the changes made to 7.6

Actual Results:
Styles not used already in the document no longer appear in the Styles box in
the menu bar; that's irritating, and making the change in 7.6 was unnecessary
and undesirable.

Expected Results:
Expected to see both used and available styles, as launching the Styles sidebar
on the right side of the screen often is not convenient or helpful, especially
if I am working with a split screen.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Leave things alone that don't need to be changed, please.
