in some cases, when we copy text to clipboard and 
navigate to the search -- CTRL+F -- we'll see our freshly copied text in the
search bar


it could be possible perhaps to use a text editor and 
copy what you're looking for... from a list...


The developers should only make sure that the freshly copied text 
will appear in the search field...

Otherwise:
the saved searches is familiar from websites...
and there they save the searches so that the server could save WORK... (in fact
a lot)...

this functionality, as far as I know, starts with the database (Mariadb /
my$ql)
... they (the db servers) somehow handle cashing search results...

etc, etc...

The point being that Libreoffice doesn't need such techniques, cause it's not
about searches...

AND LAST and not the least:
what about Loook?

Extensive searches might be best carried out using Loook... (3 "o"-s)


I'm no expert and I'm not speaking on anybody's behalf :)
