Steps:
1. Open attachment 189415
2. Select shape on the left
3. Context menu > Area... > Area tab
4. Switch to "None", press OK
Result: still uses "Use Background". Reopening the dialog confirms that.
Switching to "None" works in the sidebar. Same if saved as PPTX.
