steps to take in order to reproduce the error:
open "/usr/lib/libreoffice/share/Scripts/python/HelloWorld.py"
(as root, with "gksudo gedit" or by other means)
Replace
tRange.String = "Hello World (in Python)"
with
tRange.String = u"Witaj świecie (w języku Python)"
(this is Hello World in one of other world's languages...;-(
save it.
open a LO document.
run python macro" HelloWorldPython"
you will get:
Witaj Åwiecie (w jÄzyku Python)
