In any case, I can't reproduce the issue with Colibre, Breeze or Breeze Dark, dark mode UI, LibreOffice Dark application colours: the "specify the borders of the selected cells" large button displays the grid visibly (dotted white lines on dark background). Or are you talking about the "Select the line style of the border" dropdown? Can you please test with a currently supported version, preferably 7.6? And if the issue persists, please share a screenshot.
