            Bug ID: 157457
Summary: Windows custom short date format
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.5.6.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Calc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Libreoffice do not allow me to use my windows custom short date format. It is
dd-mm-yyyy, but it keeps going back to dd/mm/yyyy, when I edit the date.
It's been like this forever/for a long time, so it doesn't really apply to any
specific version.
Other windows applications (including excel) uses my default date format out of
the box and with no further issues.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change format for an empty field to date: dd-mm-yyyy
2. Enter a date 24-12-2023
3. Looks good.
4. Edit the 2023 to 2024.
5. Editing is now done using / instead of - and it stays that way unless you
change format again.

Actual Results:
Already explained above

Expected Results:
It should have kept using - and it should even have done so from the beginning.
