This issue has forced me to learn that libreoffice is hard to beat. I've been
looking into alternatives to libreoffice specifically because it appears the
developers are refusing to re-integrate this feature. All my other favorite
apps allow me to manually change the size of the menu text. Why does it make
sense that I can increase the icon size through a menu option, while meanwhile
the menu font is still so tiny. I'm using arch linux with suckless DWM. I'm
happy to see this thread is still active. I think enough people want this
feature back that refusing to implement it is anti-customizability and frankly
a little anti-accessibility considering how many people with aging eyesight
liked having this feature. Why is menu font size so confusing and troublesome
to libreoffice users that it makes more sense to fiddle with your package
manager and command line options instead?
