This enhancement has been requested by so many users over so long a time. The
implementation of threads in LO would not only solve this problem, but also
accelerate file loading, updating pagination and many more operations which
could run in the background while the user is editing the file. Release Notes
24.2 still do not mention any such plans. Could the implementation of threads
not be given a higher priority? It seems many users would be grateful for it.
