            Bug ID: 157699
Summary: The "Insert OLE object > Display as Icon" feature is
                    not working in DOCX documents
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.5.7.1 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I'm trying to embed PDF documents into a DOCX file via the following sequence
of commands:

Insert > OLE Object > Create from file > Display as icon

This initially works, and results in a generic file icon that links to the
embedded PDF file. I would have preferred an icon that looks like the Adobe PDF
logo, but I can live with the generic file icon.

However, if I close the DOCX file and then reopen it, the icon link no longer
works. When I click on the icon, the Image Properties dialogue box is now
displayed.

This incorrect behaviour happens every time.

(I'm running LibreOffice Community version 7.5.7.1 on Debian 13.)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open LibreOffice TextMaker
2. Go to File > Save as and save file in DOCX format
3. Go to Insert > OLE Object > OLE Object
4. Select the "Create from file" radio button
5. Check the "Display as icon" checkbox
6. Click on the "Search" button
7. Select a PDF file that's stored locally
8. A generic file icon will be displayed
9. Click on the icon to ensure it links to the embedded PDF file.
10. Save document
11. Close document
12. Reopen document
13. Click again on the icon to ensure it links to the embedded embedded PDF

Actual Results:
14. Clicking on the linked icon results in the Image Properties dialogue box

Expected Results:
14. Clicking on the linked icon should result in the embedded PDF being
displayed

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
In step 8, instead of a generic file icon, I would have preferred the Adobe PDF
icon, or something similar. As it stands, it is not clear that the icon links
to an embedded PDF file.
