Not only the toolbar for inserting a connector is missing.

A: When you have a drawing in Draw, where the connector geometry is changed
away from default, and you copy&paste this drawing to Writer, the connector has
a wrong geometry. The import uses the adjustment values as if they are given in
Twips. It makes no different whether you select all shapes together in Draw or
first group them in Draw and then copy them.

B: A connector in Writer misses the "Connector"-dialog. That is
".uno:ConnectorAttributes". It is not simply missing from the menu, but it is
not available in Writer at all. It should be in category "Format".

I do not think that adding the missing functionalities is an easy hack.
