Bug ID: 157919
Summary: LO Writer: Word 365 Docx file with a table is getting
a strange rendering when opened and converted to PDF
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 7.6.2.1 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
When I open a Word document in LibreOffice Writer, the columns of tables appear
significantly narrower than they do in Word, causing the content to be
compressed or overlapped. How can I ensure that table column widths are
preserved correctly when opening in LibreOffice and converting to pdf?
Steps to Reproduce:
1. I better hand over the input to you in some way, because the word docx file
is created in a way I am not familiar with. (either generated by a program or
by user templates)
Actual Results:
The word document's table column widths is not same as the word file and the
table in the middle of the document is unreadable.
Expected Results:
The word docx/pdf content should reflect the content in the same way as it is
available in word file with format and font
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
