            Bug ID: 157962
Summary: Enhancement: Add option to enable shadows for images
                    in libre writer
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.6.2.1 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
While it is possible to create "soft shadows" for images in libre draw &
impress, essential creating a "3D" effect, this functionality does not exist in
libre writer

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Import an image in a libre writer document
2.There is no "enable shadow" option

Actual Results:
It is impossible to add shadow around an image. You need to manipulate image in
an external app (like gimp), then copy/paste in writer. Of course you need to
repeat if you are not happy with the result which is inconvenient.

Expected Results:
"Enable shadows" option should be in libre writer also.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
Please see attached image which showcases the shadow for images functionality
in libre draw and libre impress. This option should be also added in libre
writer.
