Thanks for your response, I was so frustrated with the crash that I didn't
attempted the most obvious - clean installation. After installing back 7.6.2.1
(X86_64), I was not able to reproduce the crash. Its possible this was result
of corrupt installation.
If I am able to reproduce it again, I will reopen this with steps to reproduce.
