It unnecessarily duplicates stuff (probably) available as packages. (And yes, I am against packagekit etc. installing packages, for that matter, as that's the admin decision.) As people already said there is hyphen-* (or however called in other distros) and people should install them. If they miss it initially they should look for it later.
