Given that it is totally flexible, cutting it to zero would assume a greater infallibility than this user possesses! It still seems to hang on to Swap space more than might be expected - it starts to grab swap space when memory is about 85% full. When the number of spreadsheet rows has come back down to the same level, the amout of RAM in use has come down but Swap takes a lot longer to reduce. I know what Swap space is for, but I'm not familiar with how it works in practice, so this might be quite normal, and it might be nothing to do with LibreOffice - I think it would be very hard to make something which would be sure to reproduce.
