(So to test with a new Floating Frame, one has to add the command to the menu using Tools > Customize > Menus) Applies to Calc as well: once clicked out, impossible to select again. Writer is slightly different: there is an invisible 1-pixel border that can be selected to move the object and reveal the handles.
