            Bug ID: 158455
Summary: Writer hangs when Find&Replace while Tracking changes
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.6.3.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Writer hangs if all of these happen:

- you try to Find&Replace some text
- the replacement uses formatting
- 'Track changes' is activated

Steps to Reproduce:
In the attached video you can see the sequence.

1. Open a new Writer file, write several times any word (say, 'bridge')
2. Activate 'Track Changes'
3. Open Find & Replace dialog
4. Find: 'bridge', Replace by: 'bridge' (in italics)
5. Press 'Replace all'

Actual Results:
Writer hangs. You have to kill it and lose changes

Expected Results:
every 'bridge' is replaced by "bridge" in italics.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
1- I just tried italics, but I assume this would be the same for other
formatting options

2- if you use VLC for the attached video, you will see a black screen. It's a
VLC problem. To solve this, go to Input/Codecs -> Video codecs -> FFmpeg ->
Hardware decoding -> Disable
