Summary: FILEOPEN RTF Drawing canvas imported as a placeholder
                    image
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.5.0.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer

Created attachment 191400

Example file from Word 2010

Attached RTF document contains a drawing canvas object, which contains a
textbox, that has a table inside it.

When opened in Writer, the drawing canvas becomes sort of a placeholder image.

1. Open attached document
-> the yellow background shape is not visible, only a placeholder-like image.
It should be imported as a grouped shape.

Version: 24.2.0.0.alpha1+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 0ddd9f7e055a0c1ecb120de3e40c3fdb8373e9dc
CPU threads: 15; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: default; VCL: win
Locale: hu-HU (hu_HU); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Looks like this since 7.5:

https://git.libreoffice.org/core/commit/57d9cc81b058757421cd082e5dbe32a919716807

tdf#127806: RTF import: use shape dimensions for pib picture

Before this there was only the contained teal-bordered frame visible, so this
was an improvement overall.

Not to be confused with bug 117638 where two images are grouped and fall apart
differently.
