So this enhancement is in a way also a request to make things consistent (even though Calc is the odd one out). For comparison, neither Office 365 (online) nor OnlyOffice do it (I tested font and size). And it seems easier to handle in Calc as changing the font of a cell doesn't impact the document layout.
