Description:
After downloading the latest LibreOffice update for Windows 10 x64, the .msi
file wouldn't open to install. An error would pop up stating: "The installation
package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this
is a valid Windows Installer package."
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Have windows 10 with libreoffice 7.5.3.2 installed
2.download the .msi from
"https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download-libreoffice/";
3.and simply double click the .msi file to install it.
Actual Results:
I get an error message telling me: "The installation package could not be
opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows
Installer package."
Expected Results:
The installer should have popped up and allowed me to install/update my current
installation.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
Resetting the UserProfile shouldn't have any relation to the .msi file
installing.
