Having said that, I agree that the intention of the "?" symbol for number formats is to take the place (and space) of a number. Unless there is a reason to intentionally take a different (measure) space of a number character (using the same font), I would have to agree that, somehow, it makes sense that the "?" place/space would be equivalent to a numeric glyph with the same font. Whether the space should specifically be equivalent to Unicode 0x2007, or whether the method to achieve the goal should be different, I agree with the goal of this enhancement request.
