I have been performing an evaluation on the LO projects, it is faster to open
the normal size file which is under 1MB, however, when I try to open the large
file, I got unacceptable results.
Below is the testing results:
Environment: Ubuntu 13.04
LO: LO4.0.3
Memory: 2GB
Open 2MB Word doc 1st time 12s
2nd time 5s
Open 11 MB Word doc 1st time 40s
2nd time 37s
Open 22 MB Word doc over 10mins, is still not opened, gave up.
Open 15 MB Excel xls 1st time 10s
2nd time 8s
Open 22 MB Excel xls over 5mins, is still not opened, gave up.
however, the same file on LO on windows machine could be opened even longer, by
comparing to MS office, which is less than 5sec, and comparing to WPS office,
which is also less than 5sec.
so, please kindly help to check and fix the problem as decreased too much.
