Ok, so this is about Start Center displaying already-deleted documents. See bug
101302 for a discussion on why this is not done automatically (would cause
serious issues) and how there is now a way to do it manually. Click the
hamburger menu button at the top right of the Start Center interface and choose
"Clear Unavailable Files".

If you don't mind, I would close this report as a duplicate of bug 101302.
