            Bug ID: 158981
Summary: Accessibility Check delays opening large documents
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

I have a document with 83,158 issues, 91,561 lines, 25,757 paragraphs, and
4,343,730 characters.

Request #1 Maybe make [accessibility check] a background process or warn Users
that LibreOffice will NOT respond for a while when working with large
documents.

Request #2 Please disable automatically turning on [Automatic Accessibility
Checking] when running [Accessibility Checking].
Let the User choose to turn on [Automatic Accessibility Checking].

Step #1 I was just checking out [Accessibility Check] when I discovered that
loading a large document has became an issue: surprised to be taking a long
time to load.

Step #2 Unknown to me, just testing [Accessibility Check] automatically turned
on [Automatic Accessibility Checking].
Please disable automatically turning on [Automatic Accessibility Checking]
Let the User choose to turn on [Automatic Accessibility Checking].

Step #3 When I discovered the issue, I had to load the large document in order
to turn off [Automatic Accessibility Checking].

Thanks, Tracey
When I experienced a delay in loading a large document, I tested the following
documents:
QR7X-Quick Reference Guide.odt [does NOT appear to have any noticeable delay
when loading (159kb relatively small document)]
OpenDocument-v1.2-os-part1.odt [HAS a noticeable delay when loading (742kb
relatively small document)]
