--- Comment #10 from [email protected] --- I think we should assume that the data is primary. The comment indicator should in no case interfere with the data at any viewing scale. I think a better option would be to give the user the ability to customize the appearance and behavior of the comment indicator. I am not ready to explain exactly how this indicator should look, but I believe that it should either not interfere with the data at all, or be located behind the data.
