It still hangs with the steps from comment 7 on kf5, gtk3 and gen. I am able to
Alt-Tab away from the slideshow and kill LibreOffice. With gtk3 and gen, I saw
the video play for about 1 second before freezing.

mp4 container format is supported and I don't think we want to drop support for
it. I am not sure of the root cause here.
