--- Comment #6 from Gerald Pfeifer <[email protected]> ---
What we currently see is identical as with

  Version: 7.6.3.0.0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
  Build ID: 9c8a1994bea590db7436638580231daf31844fd6
CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 6.6; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
  Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US

so essentially we are back to before the regressions that was fixed
via bug #157783.

Version: 7.5.6.0.0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
  Build ID: 0a5c49aa4f65c8e661f7da3934ab9bea8cacf662
CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 6.6; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
  Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US

garbles the chart, does not change colors, though. So this is a regression.

Version: 7.2.8.0.0+ / LibreOffice Community
  Build ID: d293877ff029ae7c161ccfbade992485fd92fe75
CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 6.6; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
  Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@86-TDF, Branch:libreoffice-7-2, Time:
2022-04-26_20:29:27

does not garble the chart nor change colors, so there appear to be *two*
distinct
regressions here.

Given the title of this report I suggest to focus on the regression
between 7.5 and 7.6.3 (or current top of tree) around color changes.
