reproducer for second set of steps

More consistent steps, but with a different crash signature as a result:

1. Open this attachment
2. Copy table
3. Place cursor behind highlighted word in footnote
4. Ctrl + V, Ctrl + Z

Result:
https://crashreport.libreoffice.org/stats/crash_details/b07d47b6-4f8e-4d34-a30c-a4415a13ae4f

In console:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::out_of_range'
  what():  basic_string_view::substr: __pos (which is 31) > this->size() (which
is 0)

No repro in 7.5.9 -> regression.
