Confirmed with gen and gtk3 VCL plugin too, in recent trunk build:

Marking as "implementation error" as that broken edge was present at
d395b42cdf3ef517d215dee905e5ccf2ae73b2b8 (although the look was a bit
different).

It's supposed to be a magenta triangle since 7.6, see bug 91415. You might be
seeing a different issue.
