Hi Julien,
Concerning your question in "Bug 59244 - Crash when closing datasource
floater"
<https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59244#c1>
whether a tracking bug might be useful:
My opinion is that currently we do not need a tracking bug, a simple
query [1] for "Duden" only shows 6 hits:
Duden only mentioned accidently, probably without relation to cope
Problem:
* Bug 36568 - MAILMERGE - Setting for "Print automatically ...
* Bug 39659 - Java 1.7.0 not recognized
* Bug 35673 - LibreOffice 3.4 most annoying bugs
* Bug 37361 - (mab3.5) LibreOffice 3.5 most annoying bugs
Real Duden related Bugs:
* Bug 37561 - Failed installing extension: Duden-Korrektor 5.0/6.0
I don't know relation:
* Bug 46246 - crash/deadlock/conflict problems with old stdlibs
It's because Michael talks about Duden in comment 9.
So I currently see no need for a Tracking bug, it should be sufficient
to have the strings "Duden, Korrector" in the Summary. But if we get
more related bugs a tracking Bug might be useful, especially if we get
many text backtraces in comments with unrelated mentioned "Duden
Korrektor", or if the situations becomes unclear becuase of other
reasons.
Ok then. It was just a suggestion but reading your answer, I think
you're right.
Best regards too.
Julien
