In fact the feature did work as expected in 4.0.3.3 So, in fact, this is a regression from the 4.0 branch It's just that the backup copy is not saved in the same folder as the original document!!! I think this is a very BAD default option for 2 reasons: 1) It makes sense that the backup is on the same working folder as the original file (in case you want to quickly revert to a previous version); 2) The Backup folder is contained in the User Profile, which MANY users advise to DELETE when any error occurs (which I also think is a BAD advice...)
